Email and Text Message Blasts

 

Developers have put the final touches on one of Segwik’s major releases - Email and Text Message Blasts. Segwik continues to expand your ability to create and customize your customer journey and sales pipeline. 

Segwik users can now send marketing campaign blasts to their customer audiences directly from Segwik. No third-party software and added fees required.

Create marketing campaigns that will build momentum and help you seal the deal. Build and nurture client relationships with consistently branded emails and SMS messages. Turn leads into brand loyal customers that will refer you to friends, family and colleagues. Segwik gives you the further ability of creating Segments from your audiences. Use this feature to retarget to only those who have opened or not opened, or even segment those who have purchased a product, attended a meeting or attended an event.  The possibilities are endless!


How to Make an Email Blast:

  • Once logged into your account, click on Content on the left table of the interface.

  • Click on Email Templates from the drop-down menu

  • Click on the Add Email Template button at the top right 

  • Choose from Rich or Simple Email

  • Create your desired email blast

  • Once you save your completed email blast, you will be brought back to your home Segwik interface page

    • Note: Lapses and interruptions with internet providers can occur, we encourage you to save often when working on email blasts

 

How to Schedule an Email Blast:

  • Click on Audiences on the top left side

  • Choose an audience or create one by clicking on the Add Audience button

  • Once you have your chosen audience

    • Click on the Schedule Audience Blast Button on the top right

    • Choose full audience or a segment, if you wish to send it to certain audiences

    • A Schedule Audience Blast pop-up box will appear

    • Name Your Blast

    • Enter an descriptions

    • Choose the date and time you want the test to go out

    • Click Submit when you are done

  • Once you submit

    • You will be brought back to the Audience interface

    • Choose the Audience Blast you just created

    • Click on the Touchpoint button at the far right

    • Choose Send Email

    • A SetUp Email Touchpoint pop up box will appear 

    • Choose who want the email sent from

    • Choose who you want the email sent to

    • Choose the Email Blast you created

    • Click the Submit Email Touchpoint 

 

How to Activate an Email Blast:

  • Your Journey will be automatically saved and you return to the Audience interface

    • Click on the drop-down button at the far right of the right of the screen, next to the Touchpoint button 

    • To activate the blast click Active

    • A Confirmation Dialog will appear

    • Click the Yes Button

    • Congratulations! You have successfully scheduled your email blast! 

 

How to Make a Text Message:

  • Once logged into your account, click on Content on the left table of the interface.

  • Click on Text Templates from the drop-down menu

  • Click on the Add Text Message button at the top right 

  • Choose a Title

  • Write your message in the paragraph box

  • Click the Save Text button

  • Once you save your completed text message

    • You will be brought back to your home Segwik interface page

 

How to Schedule a Text Message:

  • Click on Audiences on the top left side

  • Choose an audience or create one by clicking on the Add Audience button

  • Once you have your chosen audience

    • Click on the Schedule Audience Blast Button on the top right

    • Choose full audience or a segment, if you wish to send it to certain audiences

    • A Schedule Audience Blast pop-up box will appear

    • Name Your Blast

    • Enter an descriptions

    • Choose the date and time you want the test to go out

    • Click Submit when you are done

  • Once you submit

    • You will be brought back to the Audience interface

    • Choose the Audience Blast you just created

    • Click on the Touchpoint button at the far right

    • Choose Send Text Message

    • A SetUp Text Message Touchpoint pop up box will appear 

    • Choose who want the text sent from

    • Choose the phone number you want the text to come from

    • Choose who you want the text sent to

    • Choose the Text Message you want to send

    • Click the Submit Text Message Touchpoint 

 

How to Activate an Email Blast:

  • Your Journey will be automatically saved and you return to the Audience interface

    • Click on the drop-down button at the far right of the right of the screen, next to the Touchpoint button 

    • To activate the blast click Active

    • A Confirmation Dialog will appear

    • Click the Yes Button

    • Congratulations! You have successfully scheduled your text message!
